Underwater Cities is one of my all-timers. Like you, I have mostly played solo, though have enjoyed it with a couple of others in the past. It’s one of those that will never leave my shelf, as the card play and overall theme are just excellent.

The black mark as described makes me think of Kinfire Delve. Similar to thoughts here, I liked the loop of that entry, but the bosses are underwhelming, especially when compared to something like Aeons End. Cheers

I feel your pain, except with me I just bought $100 of games from Board Game Bliss that were on sale and ended up paying over $180 to FedEx, again weeks after receiving them. Suprise!

I am looking forward to this. I was surprised to learn of it recently but I’m glad I still have subscriptions set up on BGG for Roll Player Adventures! I’m sort of debating now of just getting the PDF so I can receive this in the Fall … or … pledge for a physical reward to be delivered sometime next Spring ’26. Hmm….

I’ve played it with the Hadria expansion which includes the Servants and it changes the game. Worth a revisit with these extra elements. Very enjoyable with 4, 6 or 8 players.
