Compile is a great game. I have only played a few games of Compile (without the expansion) and am concerned that the balance might be off with some of the protocols (e.g., deleting cards seems like an advantage, but maybe not since it can lead to quicker deck recycling). Only time will tell. I was on the lookout for a small box game that I can travel with, and this fits the bill.

I am a little surprised the review didn’t comment on card quality. The foil work on the cards is stunning! They constantly glimmer in the light (in a good way). I’ve seen some complaints about the artwork, but I thought it was great in combination with the foil effect. We were pleasantly surprised given this game is on the cheaper side.

Compile is a big hit with us!
