From a rules perspective, Bridge is pretty simple! The trick is that the rules belie a ton of complexity; you have to play a lot of Bridge before you’re actually playing Bridge, which is what makes it so intimidating.

I’ve definitely had mixed success with Cribbage, but I find the big dividing line is the teach. If I can get someone past the initial dump of all the scoring conditions, then more often than not they’ll have a great time with it.

I taught it to a relative a few years ago, and he took a board to college with him. Next thing I knew, he had taught his entire dorm how to play, and they were all hooked.
